Around the world, LGBT+ young people are being disowned, displaced, and left with nowhere safe to go. Posture Shift’s Justice Initiatives Fund exists to rescue them and give them a future. When Coming Out Means Losing Everything<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>

In many parts of the world, being LGBT+ doesn’t just mean facing rejection \u2014 it can mean losing your home, your family, your safety, and your future in a single day. As tolerance for LGBT+ individuals declines in persecuting nations, more young people are being disowned and left homeless, with no support system and no way forward.<\/p>

This isn’t a distant statistic. Many of them are still teenagers who suddenly are on their own, without family, shelter, income, protections or stability.<\/p>

After her family found out she was gay, her father issued an honor-killing<\/a> order against her! Nadia found Posture Shift through an online search, and we had her in a safe Christian Hostel within hours. (Weeks later she was baptized in Jesus Christ)

This Is Mission, Not Just Mercy<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>

Posture Shift has spent over 20 years training pastors<\/a>, churches, and families on LGBT+ inclusion and care. The Justice Initiatives Fund is that same mission, extended to the young people who need it most urgently \u2014 those who have already lost their home and community because of who they are.<\/p>

We believe the Church should be the safest place in the world for LGBT+ people to encounter Jesus. For some, that starts with something as basic as a roof over their head.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
